Experts Recommend Other Browsers

Some experts are advising that casual Internet users switch away from the built-in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

BBC UK article on Microsoft Internet Explorer

There are several great alternatives that users can jump to with a quick download. We have long recommended the fast, flexible, stable Firefox. However, Safari (used mostly on Mac computers - but also available for Windows) and Google Chrome are improving rapidly.

Here's a list of Free Windows compatible alternative browsers:

realZtr.com Firefox Search Plug-in

realZtr logoWe also recently launched a search engine plug-in that works on both the Mac and Windows versions of (our favorite web browser) Firefox. The search plug-in is listed at Mycroft. This is a great site listing hundreds of great Firefox search plug-ins.

To install the search plug-in, simply click on this link! You'll see a link on that page entitled realZtr.com ZIP Code Search. Click on that link, and it will be installed automatically.

Or, just click on the realZtor search plug-in here! Note: Firefox ONLY!

This search engine plug-in will allow you to go to your Firefox search box (or just press CTRL-K on Windows or Command-K on the Mac) and simply enter a ZIP code that you'd like to have realZtr.com search for listings!

It's so easy, even JMACK can do it!

Important Note: This version does NOT work in Microsoft's Internet Explorer because it chooses for some reason to not allow the type of search we are using. We're hoping to update the plug-in to allow usage of Internet Explorer. We'll keep you posted!
